Solved Error using REG IMPORT

August 4, 2015 at 13:25:01
Specs: Windows 7
Trying to edit registry using a .reg file. The purpose of which is to fix the default for .exe files. Any .exe file has become associated with Windows Media Player. I am trying to change the registry settings back to the default ones. When I run the REG IMPORT command pointing to my Exe.reg file, I receive the ERROR: The specified file is not a registry file. You can import only registry files.
Can you please point me in the right direction with this?

Good to hear - beats trying to code it yourself.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
