Specs: Windows 7
I have LENOVO laptop with windows 7.
My laptop reads well the dvds or cds if they already written.
But when it comes to empty dvd it does not recognise them.
When i try to burn the dvd with nero,it says 'please, insert a dvd', even though a empty dvd is inserted in it.
Can any one help me to check out this problem.
Thanks in advance.

Some drives do not support both DVD-r and DVD+r disks (they are a little bit different. Look up your model or try the other. Also some brands do not reliably work in all drives. Finally, are you sure someone did not try burning that disk and failed once before?

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
