ebay pages come up with code with cookie

May 30, 2013 at 13:42:19
Specs: Windows 7
Frequently while browsing in ebay, instead of the normal webpage coming up, there is a white background screen filled with codes and the word "cookie" now and then. Only happens in ebay.
Do I need to make changes in the internet options or something?
I'm using an ASUS PC with Win 7 home edition. IE 9.
Thank you very much.

Try a different web browser to see if it still happens.

You might also try deleting temporary Internet files and cookies. In IE go to Tools, Internet Options. Under Browsing History click on the Delete button and put a checkmark next to Temporary Internet Files And Website Files, & Cookies And Website Data. Then click the delete button

There are no eBay specific settings in IE. Might be worth going here:
IE > Tools > Internet Options > Advanced. Under the Browsing heating, put check marks in any "Disable script debugging..." entries.

This sort of issue is sometimes due to faulty websites. The other thing you can try is putting these webpages in Compatibility view (in IE > Tools dropdown).

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
