Specs: Windows 7, 8gb
Here's what I would like to achieve, I have two harddrive with win7 installed on disk 1 and ubuntu to be installed on disk 2.
win7 will be my main boot os. And I want to partition disk 2, one for ubuntu system and another as storage for Win7/Ubuntu.
How should I proceed this?

Thanks in advance.

Even though you will be installing it on a separate hard drive, follow the precautionary procedures outlined in the article linked above.
When you partition your new drive, create a new partition for your Ubuntu install and one as your Swap Partition, but for maximum Windows compatibility, leave the partitioning of the storage drive to do through Windows Disk Manager when you are finished with the install. Ubuntu can save (read/write) to NTFS partitions so you do not need to resort to the older FAT32 partition type.
Ubuntu's boot loader will give you your boot options upon starting.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
