Downloading files straight to an archive file

Microsoft Windows 7 ultimate 32-bit

Specs: Windows 7
Dear fellows,

I need to know how to download files from download sites in such a way that:
The Save As dialog provides me a way to save the file being downloaded AS a new archive or TO an existing archive such as RAR or ZIP instead of a folder.
I know this possibility is not offered by Win 7 and my question is: Is there any proggie out there that could add this tweak to Win 7 Registry?
The reason I need this is because after downloading application setups (*.exe) from download sites, I also like saving their description web page (as *.mht) and I want them archived together in a RAR or ZIP file and want this process to be done while downloading the files and not manually archiving the setup.exe file and its description page later because of the number of files I usually download.
Many Thanks, best regards.

That's a good idea. I suppose someone would have to develop a program on VB.NET for that.

Let me know if you hear about a program that monitors files being saved/downloaded into a folder that have the same name and will automatically rename the file...Windows 7 as advanced as Microsoft has become still fails in that ballpark. I've been too lazy to dev an app for that.

best of luck
