Dont know what is going on with my computer

Specs: Windows 7
When I start my computer up. I see the following message:

CPU: Intel (R) Core(TM) 17-3770K CPU @ 3.50GHz

USB Device total: 0 Drive, 1 keyboard, 1 mouse, Hubs

Detected ATA/ATAPI Devices...
SATA Port: Optiarc DVD RW AD-7200S

Port 6: ST3500630AS
S.M.A.R.T Status Bad, Backup or Replace
Press F1 to Run Setup

What does this mean?

Looks like your hard disc (HD) has failed or is about to. If you get a chance backup now, then replace HD..

Will it boot into windows at all? You should be able to bypass that message or disable S.M.A.R.T in bios setup. That won't fix anything but it would allow you to copy off what you wanted or even clone a new drive before the old one dies altogether.
