tried to disable "D" hard disk via registry: this did not work
You could do that with Disk management, but you would loose access to the drive. You don't have to use it, you designate where things go. Since I know nothing about your D drive, it's hard to say what the problem is. Is it a partition or a separate drive ?
Is this the recovery/restore partition? Rich
You can disable the low disk space warning by following these steps: 1.Click the "Start" button, and type "regedit" in the search box.
2.Browse the list as
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Policies\Explorer.3.Create a new 32-bit DWORD value.
4.Name it NoLowDiskSpaceChecks.
5.Double click on it to set its value data to 1.
6.Close regedit and reboot your system.
Assuming that was your only issue, the Low Disk Space warnings should no longer
be a problem.Google is your friend
