Digital Orchestrator Pro set-up on Win.7

November 3, 2011 at 13:37:11
Specs: Windows 7
"Digital Orchestrator Pro" set-up on Windows 7. How can I make this possible? I've tried everything...changing compatibility settings, etc. Nothing works. I love this program and I have many musical files, which were/are the products of hours of labor, stored on an external, which now lay useless due to the incompatibility issue. Short of the obvious solution--having either a second PC or a second hard drive running XP--what can be done (if anything) to set this program up in Windows 7?

What version of Digital Orchestrator are you running. There are versions that are made for Windows 3.1 and newer. Depending on the version you have will determine what OS you can run it on.

Digital Orchestrator PRO - 3.1 or 95. This software ran brilliantly from all the permutations/upgraded operating systems up through and including XP 2003.

I have just been installing DOP 3.02.05 from '99 on Win Seven, and it works fine.
I have installed it directly in C:\ drive : C:\DOP I'm sure that might help for such an old software..
