Solved Dick Smith Wireless Keyboard is not responding

Gigabyte / Ga-78lmt-s2p

Specs: Win64, 8gig
When I turn my PC on it takes some minutes before the keyboard will respond. The keyboard is a fairly new Dick Smith" "special" complete with new batteries.

What else can I say except that the keyboard might be bodgy but there may just be another problem. Failing some good advice it might be time for a replacement!

Regards

I think that you can solve it with a driver uninstall and install after again .
Check and manufacture website for any update .
Be sure that your wireless keyboard is full supported for your operating system.

✔ Best Answer
Hook in a spare keyboard and see if that is the same.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Thanks Derek, I have a laptop with wireless setup, I'll try and swap and see what happens.

To uninstall the driver and reinstall it you will probably need a wired keyboard temporarily, most of us have one or more around somewhere from older computers.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
