Hi guys,
How can I block a particular program from
accessing the internet, but still allowing it
access through the LAN? I tried using
Windows Firewall, and putting an Outbound
block rule on it, but that also stopped it from
talking on the LAN. I know the port numbers
associated with it, and tried to do a Port block
rule but that also seemed to fail. Any ideas?

Might use a firewall that blocks based on program. All good ones can.

Windows Firewall can block programs individually... my question pertains to how to setup Windows Firewall specifically to allow LAN access to a program but deny it from accessing the internet. I tried blocking only the ports the program used, but it was still able to connect to the internet. Is Comodo preferable for doing something like this?
