hi, i posted that my laptop keeps freezing up and thought it might me a RAM issue but i ran a MemTest and it found no errors my first post
http://www.computing.net/answers/wi...can someone list any possible solution (im getting no where as there isn't any messages that say any kind of error)
Install Speedfan to monitor your internal temperatures. High temps can cause freezing or sudden shut downs. Report back results. Someone else will probably be along soon with other suggestions. You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
i ran the test and this is the results i got: GPU : 60C
Cores: approx 54C
this is on the desktop with only startup programs running
sounds hot to me if those are idle temps,
apart from mem test, try removing the ram and using only 1 stick at a time, try each stick in each slot.i hate computers!
but cant help myself....
i just wanted to add that the keyboard is still responsive (when i hit the lock touchpad button a along with the network lock button aswell) but if it freezes during a movie it'll make that repaetitive noise. thanks for the help so far.
i have tried that and still nothing, it still locks up
