I installed Win 7 and now I want to delete Drive D which contains only Vista recovery data

If you are sure you will never want it again, you should be able to delete it using disk management tools in Windows 7, then either create a new partition or expand the existing partition to fill the space.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
If all else fails, read instructions.
