Solved Copy the titles on folders only

Hi, please i have hundreds of folders and need to build an excel file with all their names. I have followed all the steps listed below:

Go to Start, Run, cmd and it will open to the above directory.
At the command prompt type:
dir /ad >list.txt
hit Enter.
This will create a text file named "list" of all items in the directory that has the "Directory" attribute. Find the .txt file in the same folder. Copy this and paste.

My problem is that the directory starts like this: \\Pathology instead of C:\\Pathology (i have tried to trace this to a shared drive to no avail) is this hidden and if so how do i turn it off? Thanks.
