Specs: Windows 7
My university produce virtual classes "Wiz IQ" but the final videos we get as students are videos with .exe extension. I am looking for a way to convert these videos to MP4 or any video extension. The only way I have found is to record the video by screen recording software such as Camtasia studio. Do you know faster way than this method?

Thank you

.exe are executable. The format (.exe) is not a video format. This is probably because it is an interactive program and the video clips are many parts that are stitched together as needed depending on the need of the program. I think that the only way you can create a watchable video is how you are doing it but you loose the flexibility of the original program.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

"are videos with .exe extension"
Do test on one.

Right click on the file > Rename.
Replace.exe with > .mp4

The exe will be the overall program or project. It might contain videos but they will not play unless extracted. Have you seen this lot:
