Computer suttering; sound glitch

May 15, 2011 at 15:49:58
Specs: Windows 7 64-Bit, 6 GB RAM
My computer stutters VERY frequently whenever I do -anything-, and when it does, the sound either stops for the duration of the stutter -- or is replaced by a very loud buzzing sound of distorted music or whatever. I was told this could be an issue along the lines of a failing power supply, but...yeah. Any insight?

Plug-ins for windows media player
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/...

Maybe reinstall latest version of windows media player ?

Start - Control Panel - System Icon - at the left top corner -
Device Manager - Check the Sound and properties of sound to see if
device is working properly.
