My computer is randomly turning off with no warning. All my system checks say everything is fine. How can I find out if it is overheating? It doesn't feel or smell hot.
does it turn off every 2 hours?
is turning off or going into sleep mode/hibernation?there are many tools that will monitor your cpu/mobo/memory heat levels http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php
it may also be a memory problem, try running a mem check, at boot press f8 you will see the windows mem check.
it may also be a problem with your power supply.
check your system events, right click on my computer/manage/events check for errors in the event log it may help you isolate the problem.
let us know if you have any more info..i hate computers!
but cant help myself....
