Computer completely freezes.CPU Issue?/Virus?

September 28, 2010 at 00:07:23
Specs: Windows 7, 6gb
When i multi task on my core 2 quad build PC, it freezes and keyboard doesn't work or mouse..
I was wondering it could be over-clocking or heating the processor, but the CPU temp was under 43 and my processor doesn't have any cooling system. Not sure if this is a virus.. If any one has a suggestions pls help.

It could be overclocking. If you played with it then return to stable settings.

I doubt it is a virus.

Set up system to create a dump log maybe. It might have time to create one.

Could setup a performance monitor log on remote system and view events up to that crash.

See also event logs locally.

Why did it take me over a year to phone in a problem to ATT?
