Ok i been dealing with this for awhile now and i hit a last nerve with it i get commercials that play though the speakers mainly overlapping one another weather i am online or not. I cant watch anything or listen to music because of it I ran Nortons i went though lavasoft i had AVG NOTHING has stopped it i even went and bought a new computer, no go i have moved this around the house still nothing i also have three other computer in the house not counting laptops and NONE of them have the this problem. At this point a shotgun might be useful, but till i give in to the notion of shooting the computer can anyone suggest anything else to try.

It sounds like you either have some type of infection, or a TV tuner card that is not turned off and is mixing with your other sound sources. Assuming you check the hardware issue and find nothing, try malwarebytes for this type of infection, probably be best in safe mode with networking so nothing else will be running, and you can update it just before running it. Consider getting rid of Norton (I understand you need to get an uninstall tool from symantic), look for something better.

'At this point a shotgun might be useful'

Go ahead, it is probably possessed LMAO.

'i even went and bought a new computer'

This story is hard to believe as you say you have 3 others in the house and they work fine.
I presume the other 3 are NOT wireless?

Some HELP in posting on Computing.net plus free progs and instructions Cheers
