What cmd.exe do you use to find the Host ID Number for your Hard Drive ?

If I understand correctly, it is the vol drive letter: command.

Ex: vol C:

I believe that is the serial number of the drive not host id.

This depends on how you define host id.
Host id can be the mac address of the network card.

There is no host id for a drive that I am aware of.

I wasn't real sure myself but I have to get activations for my new software and the manufacture was asking for the computer Host ID but I found out it was actually the hard drive serial number they wanted and the vol C: command worked but thank you for helping me.
