Dell St2320l 23-inch widescreen flat pan...

Specs: Windows 7
When my Dell monitor comes on, for just a second, you see little boxes of assorted colors all over the screen. Then it goes right into the picture. Is this normal? (It's a few months old)
I'm a retired school teacher and don't know much about computers....or what I have. I'll paste what I have.

if it runs normally i wouldnt be concerned, it could just be a part of video drivers flash screen..only get concerned if it begins to last longer or to show up on the screen during normal use..

i hate computers!
but cant help myself....
