cmd H:/ instead of C:/

Specs: Windows 7
when i open the command prompt it opens in H:\ instead of C:\
is there any way to change it?
it doesnt even go to C:/ on doing a 'cd C:\'.

Open up the property sheet for "cmd.exe" (or create a new copy and change that if desired). Change the "Start in:" field to "C:\". If you like you can create several copies, one for each drive and/or directory that you wish to start in.

BTW, "cd C:\" will not change the current drive, just the current directory on drive C:. To change from another drive to drive C: you just type "C:".
