chrome app reinstall or uninstall

October 12, 2013 at 05:14:11
Specs: Windows 7
A chrome app was mistakenly dragged to remove and it did not uninstall. I have tried uninstalling through the app store page and extension settings with no luck. I have tried dragging the app picture back to the new tab app list with no luck either. I want the app, how do I get it back on the app list?

Start by telling us what device and operating system this is. Windows does not have an app store, or any of the other things you are mentioning.

Non of the rest of your post makes much sense either. What do you mean you dragged it to remove, dragged what? What extension settings? What app list? What new tab app list?

It is an emachines desktop operating with windows 7. I am referring to Google Chrome, the browser. It has apps and extensions. When you click to open a new tab, an app list appears of all your google apps. The app icon was dragged to the remove app space. It removed the icon, but not the app, as when I opened up the settings menu and extensions option, it was listed there as installed.

The problem has gotten worse. .dll files are now missing.

Try un-installing then re-installing Chrome.
