Specs: Windows 7
Is there a way to see the browsing history after it has been deleted? I know there is a way to see it on the hard drive but Iam not sure how to get to it.

You would need file recovery software of some sort. I know of no way to restore it that's built into windows.

Checking up on your spourse or your kids?

It matters not how straight the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate;
I am the captain of my soul.

Any chance of recovery is worsened the more you use the computer. There is a freebie called Recuva but even that (or similar) only restores "files" and will not put History back into it's usual place in IE.

I don't fancy your chances, even if you invest in lots of money and keep your hands off the computer until then.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

If you don't regularly delete your index.dat files, all your browsing history is stored there. All you need to do is make sure you have "show hidden files & folders" enabled & you'll need an index.dat viewer:
