Hey,
I was just wondering if it was possible for me to change my s/w sound output to mono rather than sterio.
Reason being is i have a 3.5mm audio jack that only releases left speaker sound and its bugging me up the wall.
Thanks ahead,
Arukk

If I understand you correctly, when you unplug from the jack the sound is only restored to the left channel.
Even if you could switch the sound to mono, that wont give you the sound on both speakers if that's what you want.
Sounds like you really need new socket, could also be dry joint if its soldered directly to the board.

Yeah thanks,
Changing it to mono was successful, i didnt explain the whole situation to aviod extending the posts length to beyond readability lol, sadly, i do not have time to explain it.. nor do i think i ever will, all i can say is its impossible for me to replace the port because it is on a main board and i dont wanna screw the PCB -- its in a laptop, ignore the product i listed lol.

So thanks very much to both of you, i didnt realise 7 by default had realtek audio manager lol.

Also, i was wondering why the name of my post was changed?

Anyways, thanks again,
