How do I change a windows XP make PC to be a windows 7 PC,that when installed the pictures look faded
Upgrading to Win7 won't do anything to change the look of photos. Perhaps either you have issues with your monitor or whatever program you're using to view the photos. A little more explanation of your problem would help (i.e.---photos you're trying to view, program you're using to view them with, monitor resolution/settings, etc.) From your last post:

Sometimes a faded-looking screen means video drivers aren't installed or you have the color quality set too low in display properties. First check in device manager and see if any problem shows with the video adapter. Then check in display properties and see if you can raise the number of colors in color quality.
