Change ALL CAPS to lowercase in gmail in Win7

March 14, 2011 at 10:13:11
Specs: Windows 7
I use gmail exclusively for emails and often hit caps lock and then only realize after typing a paragraph. I now have to leave it as is or go back and start again. Is there any shortcut to convert caps to small letters?

If you were using MS Word yes... but in gmail you have to start again!

If you can get online at the same time you could use this (or similar):
http://www.textfixer.com/tools/uppe...

You then copy/paste the replacement text into your email.

Some of them work if saved as a webpage, but I've not tried that particular one.

Please come back and let us know how you got on.

Yes, copy all your Capitals Text. Paste it in Word. Select all. Hit shift and F3. Make your choice. Select the changed text. Copy it. Past it in Gmail...
