Cant watch Youtube videos on Flashpeak Slimjet browser

Specs: Windows 7, Pentium D
I used to be able to watch YouTube videos on Flashpeak Slimjet browser.
But now, instead of the videos, is just a blank white space with the "play" button just sitting there in the middle. No error msg no nothing.
This is on my desktop and several laptops with Windows 7, 8.1 and 10 installed across them all.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

No problem getting youtube with Slimjet on my comp.

Have you tried taking the laptop somewhere else to see if it works with a different internet connection.

Johnw, I should have added, Youtube works on the other browsers: IE, Chrome. Firefox, Brave.
So why should I take it somewhere else?

I don't have an answer for you & also don't know why you'd need 5-6 browsers, but if all of them work but one, why not just stick to the ones that work?

New update to Slimjet is available.
If that doesn't fix the problem, reset the browser.

Johnw,

I 'm confused. According to your screenshot, that just
resets the toolbar, not the whole browser. Was that the
only reset button you were able to find?

I occasionally get blank boxes in whatever browser I'm
using (currently Edge). Sometimes they eventually get
filled on their own, sometimes they work if I reload the
page-- maybe two or three times or more-- sometimes
I give up trying before anything changes. Total mystery
to me what is going on. I'd like to know, but don't expect
I'll ever find out.

Computers are supposedly binary. Either a thing works,
or it doesn't work. It doesn't seem to be that way at all.

My bad Jeff. Should be.

Open Slimjet > Customize & Control Slimjet > Settings > Advanced.
Scroll down to Reset settings.

riider:
because Slimjet doesnt play ads on youtube and doesnt play ads on other sites like News, tv and wherever else.
It is well and truly an ad-free browser.
But I'm not going to say its 100% ad-free everywhere because I havent been "everywhere" but its probably 95%.
It does have some quirks & limitations but you get to work around that.
You should try it in case you havent.
Brave is next in-line to fewer ads.

Sorry about delay.

Johnw, that half-worked, video came back but volume, CC etc didnt.

Anyway, on desktop pc, I uninstalled current version and installed Ver 19 and works perfectly.
It opens up quicker and browses quicker.

On laptop with Windows 10 & 8.1, SJ now works, very strange.

On laptop with 8.1 only, problem still persists, wont bother for now, it might fix itself up like other laptop.

Wonder if riider had a look at Slimjet...or maybe he has it anyway.

A browser you should all look at is Epic with built-in VPN....and its free.

Thank you for all responding.
