Help. I have windows 7. Can't see any videos, I download adobe flash, and it says "installation sucessful" but it's not. When I go to view something, it tells to to get adobe flash player. It doesn't appear as a program on my start button, but it show's up when I hit the control panel. I've tried everthing! Any ideas?

What browser are you using? Check the addons or extensions in your browser and make sure it's listed and enabled. You may want to uninstall it Flash and reinstall it.

In addition to the above suggestions:
If you are using Internet Explorer and you have 64bit Windows 7, you actually have 2 versions of Internet Explorer, the 'regular' one and the 64bit one. If you are using the 64bit one, try the regular 32bit version since it is more universally compatible (not as much now as when it was new, but still sometimes).
Run a manual Windows Update and install, especially anything related to security, Internet Explorer, Flash or other compatibility, etc.
Try a different browser like FireFox, Chrome, etc.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

Hi Tony,
Thanks for the reply. You asked about my brower and that led me to discover i actually have windows 9 and had the active x filter on. As soon as I clicked it off, it worked!
P.S. I'm new at all this and feel a bit "stupid" asking these basic questions. Wasn't too bad. :)
