I need to uninstall Google Earth and reinstall. It is slow loading and sometimes will not even load at all. The icon does not even show normal. I tried add/remove and it ask for the CD? There was no CD this was a download from File Hippo.

Try reinstalling over the top.

and download it from Google direct. Then you can be sure of getting what you want and not something that has been adulterated with malware.

Filehippo is generally regarded as safe but nothing lost getting from source.

Re-installing it over the top, already suggested, might then make it possible to uninstall it if necessary.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

It ask for the disk when I try to install it over the top. And I download from file hippo because it gives you the option to download to desktop and install from desktop not installing over the internet. And file hippo is clean with no maleware. I do not like installing from google because it tries to install google took bar and that is JUNK.
And yes I have unchecked the toolbar before and it still installed. I know how to install it. Something is missing somewhere I just need a little help here uninstalling it.

It tries but you always have the option to reject it. All it takes is a couple of mouse clicks.

OK revo worked. Got it reinstalled. As far as downloading from Google. I like to install to my desktop. I know google has a way to do the offline download but it's hard to find. It's eaiser to go to file hippo and download. And file hippo is not a maleware site.
