Can't seem to get rid of Win 7 demo version

November 23, 2010 at 03:12:33
Specs: Windows 7, Intel Celeron E1400@2.00Ghz / 512 Mb of Ram
I had vista installed (oem) then installed a demo of windows 7, I decided to go back to XP so re-formatted "C" Drive then clean installed XP onto it. Noticed in my "D" drive folders marked "Windows.old" and another folder marked "Windows.old000", I took no notice and thought to clean up later. Installed AVG to my new XP installation, but when I re-booted iit was not Win XP ,but Bloody Windows 7 again....... PLEASE ANY IDEA WHY
And will I have to re-install XP all again??

I think u installed win 7 on different partition (drive D). U can use win xp to del win 7 files on drive d or back up your files somewhere and format drive D.

u need more memory.
