i was trying to reset the lenovo b575 and whenever i hold the one touch key it will load for a second then say something like There is no operating system detcted then something about drivers connected then hold control alt delete to restart.
i think my mom who had it first was in the process of resetting it and must have turned it off mid way. i dont have an OS disc and i have no idea what to do! is there any alternatives to fixing it??

Are you aware that doing a factory reset/factory restore will wipe all your personal files in the process? Is there anything you'd like to preserve(if it's not too late)?

Meanwhile, try this olde routine from Derek, amongst others.

Remove the battery, and also of course the power adapter/charger. Press and hold the on/off button for about 30secnds. Then release it an re-install the battery etc. and see if it will start (boot up) correctly.

Make sure the laptop is completely powered off. Press & hold the one touch key.
