When you download and Save a pdf file (rather than running it), what happens when you double click the saved file?

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Nothing...when I click on any pdf file - saved to my computer or online it does nothing.

My curser does turn like it is going to do something and then nothing happens.

I suggest you remove Adobe Reader for an alternate program and never look back. That program has a long history of security issues and is constantly under attack by malware. I've long used Foxit reader and suggest you try it out.

You probably have an associations issue but I agree with #3. Foxit is a small and neat program that does everything Adobe does. If you go that way uninstall Adobe Reader first.

If you still want to use Adobe then right click any pdf, select Open With, then go to the Adobe Reader exe file (probably AcroRd32.exe).

EDIT:
Our posts crossed - glad to hear it worked out.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
