i am trying to delete a linux extended partition in win7 but there are only 2 options there 1 is create new partition and the 2nd is help... when i click on new partition it says you cannot create a new volume in an unallocated space because the disk already contains the maximum number of partitions..... what can i do to remove this partition
Be very careful when using delpart that you apply it to the correct partition. Drive letters may not be an accurate method of determination. Go by partition size.
What did you get, when you try to delete the partition by going to Start / rightclick Computer / Manage / Drive management? You are expecting our help, we are expecting your response !!!
i managed to delete the partition in another way. i booted off the ubuntu 10.04 cd and went straight into live desktop then used System>Administrator>........... a partition manager of some sort. then deleted the unallocated space and formatted it with ntfs, that was it rebooted into windows
Thanks for your reply. You are expecting our help, we are expecting your response !!!
