Couple of things to check. Firstly, right-click the file you want to copy, choose 'properties' and check that it is the actual music file, and not a shortcut to it elsewhere - if it is a shortcut then you need to go to the actual file location and copy it from there. Secondly, when you are copying the files, drag them over using the right-mouse button and when you release the button make sure that you select 'copy' rather than 'create a shortcut'.

The file is a music file, I can play it. Still can't copy it (or any music file) Copy is not highlighted when right clicking. Drag and drop with RMB still produces a short cut. All other files can be copied, text, photos, zip, vidio
