Specs: Windows 7 Ultimate, Intel Quad Q6600 2.70Ghz/6.00Gb
Trying to install windows 7 ultimate but sys' won't boot from drive. Made settings for cd/dvd as first boot in bios and registry setting for autorun set to (1) enable; to no avail... How do I get the sys' to boot from the cd/dvd drive?

Are you sure it is a dvd drive?

Swap to new dvd drive maybe.

Did you see anything on the screen after post, like "press any key to boot"?

??????Autorun has nothing at all to do with this.

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.

I saw nothing, no press any key to boot from Dvd or cd or anything; it goes straight to windows.
