cannot view or open pdf or swf files

April 17, 2011 at 11:39:15
Specs: Windows 7, Intel Celeron 2.19GHz / 2GB
I use Windows 7. I recently upgraded to IE9, and updated to Adobe Reader X, Adobe ShockWave Player 11.5, and Adobe Flash Player 10. Now I can't view, open, or save .pdf. or .swf files in IE, which I desperately need for school.
I've already tried checking the "Display PDF in Browser" box in ARX.
I've already uninstalled all Adobe products and re-installed them.
I'm using the 32-bit version of IE9.
What the heck else can I do to get back to being abel to open/view these files again?!?!

Thank you,
Melissa M.

I tried that and it deleted ALL trace of any version of IE and really fubar'd things. Unfortunately my sister took my recovery disk and doesn't know what she did with it, so I just bit the bullet and did a clean re-install of Win 7 and all the other software I used. Went back to IE 8, and it moved slower than molasses with lots of freezing. Switched to Firefox, and it works BEAUTIFULLY! Good Bye IE!
