cannot ping network printer

February 14, 2011 at 06:15:42
Specs: Windows 7
Using Win7 Pro (64bit). Have installed all network printers, but suddently they were all in offline state. I removed the printers and now I cannot even find them on the network. My collegues have no connection problems. I have tried to ping the IP-addresses of the network printers, however I constantly receive a timeout message.

Ensure that the IP address of the printer is fixed and ensure that the computer or device that you are pinging from will allow packets to be sent through the network. To check this you can see if you can ping another device on the network or change your firewall settings to ensure that it is not blocked.

Hope this helped :)
