can you get back your old operating system?

Specs: Windows 7
Hi all,

I recently switched my operating system from vista to windows 7. All my pc games worked fine before and eve rsince i have switched i have had problems. Is there any how that i could go back in time and get vista back without a cd?

Please help.......:(

Did you setup a dual-boot system? Otherwise, (likely) no.

yes if you did an upgrade, and did not format the whole drive.
you will be able to reinstall your OS from the hidden partition by tapping the correct F key at boot to get into the factory restore options. check the website or manual for the correct F key

i hate computers!

If you Upgraded, you can't go back. If you Installed over, without reformatting, you should have a c:\windows.old folder to work from. See

Depends on what the "problems"are.

I know of no way to undo what you have done exactly like an un-install.

You can either fix the problems or go back to vista. (maybe go back)

Personally, I'd try to fix the problems if there are only a few of them.

If you did not update your drivers to windows 7 drivers then you will have some problems and possibly more problems as windows updates itself since the old vista drivers may be less compatible with the later updates. SO first go to the manufacturer's website and get W7 drivers first, then post any remaining problems (if any).

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
