Specs: Windows 7
I can receive emails on wireless networks, but cannot send emails from either my home wireless or the wireless at work. They go fine when I am actually plugged into the network at the office. I have not tried at any other wireless locations. But I need to work from home as well adn this is pretty important. Thank y ou.

There are stacks of email clients so we can't help properly unless we know which one you are using. It sounds like an incorrect setting.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

I doubt it has anything to do with wireless. As Derek said, it sounds like an incorrect setting in your email program. If a web-based version of your email is available, try that & see if it works.

LorettaSue,

The most reason people can't send in certain locations using Outlook 2010 has nothing to do with Outlook! Many ISPs prevent people from sending messages unless they are directly connected to the network. The link below takes you to a set of troubleshooting pages that should help.

I also highly suspect it's due to incorrect settings in email client, you should get help from your company email administrator to resolve this problem.

Hope this helps.

thanks guys, I am having difficulty getting Bellsouth AT&T settings to send the emails from the webmail that my new boss set up. I can receive emails just fine from home but cannot send. My apologies for not posting immediately but we are quite busy setting up and running a brand new business! Thanks! I may have to bite the bullet and finally get cable at the house!
