Can I install DOS application on my WIndows 7

I installed POSAID2 onto windows 7without any problems, it's a Loran to GPS converter and only works in DOS

We'd need to know if you have 64 bit or 32 bit windows 7. Pretty sure you can't get 16 bit applications to run on the 64 bit version. My guess since it doesn't work then the OP has 64 bit but we'd need to know. Playing to the angels Les Paul (1915-2009)

My Windows 7 is the 64 bit version. I have attempted the compatibility mode with no success. I do no wish to install a second OS. I assume by now that I have to run this program on another PC or get a program compabible with the 64 bit system.
