Solved Can I customize size of each folder window

July 24, 2014 at 01:02:26
Specs: Windows 7
I have a folder on my desk top which contains a number of sub folders which contain document files.

I have customized the main folder to open within the centre of my screen. When I open a sub folder it opens with exactly the same dimensions. If I adjust this sub folder's dimensions ( say, making it smaller and more compact ) those dimensioins then are applied to all the subfolders...and the main folder.

I want to apply different dimension to all my subfolders so that they are remembered and always open in its customized size.

Can it be done?

I've seen this many times and believe it is a function of Windows that cannot be corrected in any simple way.

Just the same, keep watching for other ideas.

I'm surprised if it still cannot be done. I've wanted it since Windows 95.

Put it this way, I am in the same boat with Win 8.1 plus the additional major update.
