Can I combine two Win7 CC users into 1?

July 3, 2011 at 22:46:01
Specs: Windows 7
Only wanted one! Carelessly continued since day (1) with second admin authority user. Would like to just handle 1 user for simple minded sole user!! Which means all (A) user and (B) user files etc..., are combined. Or will current flaw-resistant 2+ year Win7 and Office10 become FUBAR?

you can copy over the files from 1 account too the other and then delete the second account, simple, quick and effective.

In some cases some programs may not work. They may have been installed for only that user.

If you want you can change one of the admin accounts to a standard user and just no use it.

Well, actually you should always be on a standard user account and never log on to the admin account. Too much of a security risk.

you always want a second admin account, even if you don't use it regularlly, so if admin 1 gets hosed you have a backup account into the system.

Answers are only as good as the information you provide.
