Can you boot into Safe Mode? Usually you tap F8 while booting.

The problem with BSOD's is knowing whether they are due to hardware or software. If you can get to Safe Mode it is more likely to be software.

From Safe Mode try System Restore to a date before this issue came along. Just type System Restore in search.
