Browser has stopped working (DNS Server connection error)

February 6, 2012 at 08:35:18
Specs: Windows 7 Home Premium
My Browser has stop working on Windows 7 Home Premium. My internet connection is working as I have other laptops which are still connecting. The browser on the home PC just stopped working. I was able to ping specific IP addresses. I keep getting a DNS Server connection error.

Try resetting router.
Restart the machine (not obvious to all).
Run Malwarebytes to eliminate infection as a possibility.
Check Internet Security Settings in IE to make sure they are not too high.
Try another browser (Internet Explorer, FireFox, Safari, Chrome). Download if needed on another machine and transfer with flash drive, network shared drive/folder, or CD.
Try in Safe Mode with Networking to see if it works there.
Report back results.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

Thanks for reply.
I tried all suggestions with no luck. I am still not able to get out to the internet through the different browsers.
