I change the boot order in bios to that drive.

We'd have to know more about how it was installed. C and other drives depend on how bios thought it was at post.

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.

One standard method is to install XP on a second drive and then do a start up repair on Windows 7 to create the dual boot option at start up. Note that if you have SATA drives, the XP installer will not recognize the drive until the SATA drivers are installed. You either need to make a custom install disk using the slipstream method or tell your BIOS to emulate an IDE drive until after the drivers are installed, then switch it back again.
Another (as mentioned above) is to have the BIOS select the driver to boot to.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
