Specs: Windows 7
Hi there,
I got myself a mess, here is my problem:

- pc fell down, not from too high, but still. Picked it up and it worked fine for " more hours before I rebooted it.
- Couldnt reboot properly, even with the recoverymanager.
- Tried to format it, failed along the way with a 0xe0ef0003 error message.
- Now no more bootmrg, impossible to boot it.

I ran a start up test:
- memory test, PASSED
- smart check, PASSED
- Short DST, FAILED

I dont have cd drive, nor the win7 cd installation.

Im in China right now, for 2 more month.

Any help? Im desperate...

if this is a laptop which i assume it is, the format was abig mistake, you have probably lost the hidden drive with your windows installation on, have a look on this link might help you attempt a factory restore http://www-tus.csx.cam.ac.uk/window...

or you will need to get the drivers from the laptop manufacturer, and create a windows usb install from a win7 dvd or iso, this link will help http://www-tus.csx.cam.ac.uk/window...

i hate computers!
but cant help myself....

try f11 on bootup to see if the hidden partition is still intact. If so, you can restore it to factory condition.
NEVER....NEVER start up a computer and reformat the drive that way.

Use Google or another search engine to see how you can access your PC and restore it. Having no optical drive presents a problem.

Some HELP in posting on Computing.net plus free progs and instructions Cheers
