Specs: Windows XP
hey!! i recently had low disk space n my c drive. i tried disk clean up but it only cleaned up 9.5 MB space. So i tried to compress the drive. During the compressing process, i got tired and i canceled the process. After wards i shut down the computer and when i opened the computer, a message saying "bootmgr is compressed press Alt+Ctrl+Del to reboot" appeared i tried to reboot it a lot of times but it didn't work. and no i don't have the windows 7 installation CD and i tried pressing F8 to open CMD but that also didn't work... so i would grateful if you could help me.
i have OS windows 7.

If your system came with Windows 7, you probably have a recovery partition. Check your manual or online manual to see the key(s) needed to access this feature and do a start up repair (not factory restore). If you made a Windows 7 repair disk, you can use this to do the start up repair as well. You can order a restore disk from the manufacturer (factory installed) usually for a small fee and that will also work. If this was an upgrade to Windows 7 and you did not make the repair disk then you will need to get/borrow an install disk of the same type to do the repair. These can be purchased cheaply since you do not need the key, just do not get an OEM factory disc if you installed from a retail or upgrade disk.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
