Bluetooth icon missing in Win 7 system tray

Specs: Windows 7 home basic edition
Help please! Can't find the bluetooth icon in system tray even though I have activated it already.

Connect the bluetooth and check the control panel. I assume u are using windows soft for bluetooth, try bluesoleil it works perfect.

ok - having tried various msconfig, looking in BIOS suggestions, this simple solution works for XP SP3.

C:/program files / WIDCOMM / btray.exe

btray.exe puts the icon in the system tray

WIDCOMM being the bluetooth software folder. You can get details from device manager for your own PC
