Specs: Windows 7
I am running the Acer Aspire AX1700-U3700A with 4 GB memory and 750 GB hard drive. I was running Windoows Vista and was constantly crashing to the blue screen or freezing up. I have upgraded to Windows 7 and it still has the same issues.

well that shows that its not a software issue, but a hardware issue,
1st take out all memory except 1 stick see if it works, then try each stick in each slot till you find the bad stick.
also run a memtest program on each stick.

next check your hard drive for errors, use the manufacturers own tools to test the hard drive.

check that your cpu is cool enough, blow out dust and check its heat sink it correctly seated.
let us know how it goes with each job.

i hate computers!
but cant help myself....

check in the bios for temps, or run a temp watcher like, everest, or hwmonitor, if heat is the problem you will have to speed up the fans to full speed, or take the thing back if its still under warranty..
