Do you ever see "anything" on the screen?

I have difficulty seeing why the reformat has any bearing on either the "complete lack of anything on the screen" or the "base of the laptop being hot". I don't know why you did the reformat but am wondering if whatever you hoped to fix that way was really down to a hardware fault, which has now gone solid. Without any software at all you should still see the initial information before Windows starts.

In terms of "nothing on the screen" the usual culprit is either a screen fault or its connections. The video module is another (less likely) suspect. However, none of this fits with the base of the computer being hot. It is hard to say exactly what is wrong but it is almost a certainty that you now have a hardware fault - maybe the CPU or its heat sink fixing.

Even if it is full of dust (sometimes the reason for overheating) I would expect it to work long enough from cold to see the bootup screen. Unless you are happy delving inside, in the hope of finding and fixing a hardware fault, then the only way forward seems to be to hand it in for repair.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

the 1st problem ive encountered was unmountable_boot_volume so decided to fix by an expert. while in the process of reformatting it was not responding so he decided to reformat it thru the memory out in the laptop. he put it back then but the system not responding. but before he do that something appears in the screen windows not responding. he tells me to go back tom with the laptop and observe if something appears on the screen but until now nothing. and another expert observed it he said due to the heat but he offered me high price but no assurance to fix it 50/50 chances.....
